Production process of sugar fried chestnut
The chestnut roasting machine mainly used to roast all kinds of dry fruits and nuts, such as walnut, peanut, soybean, sesame seed, cashew nuts, seeds, almond, peach kernel, hazelnuts, pine nuts etc.
Production process of sugar fried chestnut:
screenning -> cleaning -> prefrying -> adding sugar -> out of pot.
- Screening: choose quality chestnuts with uniform size and plump seed as raw materials. The free sand is the best gravel used in sugar fried chestnut with gravel diameter of 3-4 cm .
- Cleaning: clean and dry the chestnuts and gravel. (Note: the chestnuts should be drying for half a day before they go into the pot).
- Prefrying: put the gravel after drying into the chestnut roasting machine, and heat the gravel to hot (50°C or so). Then, put the chestnuts into the pot. The rate of chestnut and gravel is 1:2. The machine stirs the gravel and chestnuts to make the chestnuts heated evenly.
- Adding sugar: when the chestnuts are cooked to seven or eight mature, then add syrup into the pot. The proportion of syrup and chestnut is about 1:60. (Note: the syrup should be put in 2-3 times).
5, Out of pot: when a layer of transparent film is formed on the chestnut surface, crack the shells of chestnuts. When the chestnut kernels are separated with the inner shells and thechestnut meat becomes soft, then the chestnuts can be taken out of the pot. Pour the gravel and chestnuts into the screen mesh for sieving. The gravel can be used repeatedly.
